Our impact
Core to TalentLift's mission is removing the barriers that have historically kept displaced talent locked out of job and relocation opportunities, because of their refugee circumstances that have nothing to do with skills or potential. Many barriers are systemic and often they are financial. Donations fund the direct costs of accessing jobs and skilled visas for individuals. And, donations go to powering the TalentLift team, which operates across the talent search, immigration, and settlement stages of each candidate's journey.

Governance
TalentLift is governed by a Board of Directors who you can meet on our team page. Our Board is committed to advancing the mission of TalentLift as an effective governance team. This team includes a Chair, Vice Chair, and Treasurer. Board members are selected by the board team after an application and interview process and members commit to a term of three years.
Finances
TalentLift began operations in 2021 and has grown from a start-up with zero funds powered by volunteer time, to an operating budget of more than $1.5 million in recent years as we scale our impact.
We commit to excellent stewardship of the funds we receive, and have in place robust financial policies, oversight and controls. We have a mandate through our financial policies to be thoughtful and responsible with all spending, as we employ the people and procure the services that make our work possible.
